Certification requirements

The certification process is individual and follows a procedure of verification on number of criteria:

• Be a university graduate (all majors are accepted);
• Have a minimum 200 hours in activities related to career consulting (management, human resources, training, education, consulting, etc);
• Successfully graduate 120 hours of accredited GCDF training program, which covers the 12 areas of competence. NBCC has approved 2 GCDF training providers in Bulgaria:

Validity
The GCDF Certificate is valid for a period of 5 years and the certicated counselors should practice in coherence with the GCDF Ethical Standard, seek supervision and have at least 75 hours of continuing education within the above mentioned competence areas.
