Projects and initiatives

Since 2007 NBCC Bulgaria has trained and certified over 1000 Global Career Development Facilitators, thus developing capacity for career guidance support in more than 600 schools, 10 youth centres, 36 universities and more than 100 private companies and public organizations in Bulgaria. The curriculum for training career counsellors has been incorporated into the master programs of several Bulgarian universities. The case was included in the CEDEFOP's report "Professionalizing career guidance. Practitioner competences and qualification routes in Europe".

 

Researches:

• National youth employability skills survey (carried out in 2010 among 119 employers and 1023 young people);

• Research of Vocational interests of Pupils (carried out in 2008 among 610 pupils and 181 parents);

• First national representative study of Bulgarian students' career orientation and motivation (carried out in 2007 among 12 477 students).
