Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF)

Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) is one of the most famous and successful NBCC programs. GCDF provides and verifies skills to give assistance in regard with career. This program is applied by professionals in the USA, Canada, New Zealand, Japan, China, Germany, Turkey and Romania. In 2005 GCDF was adapted and implemented in Bulgaria.

Almost 150 specialists – universities’ career consultants, pedagogical advisors from secondary and vocational schools, managers form the HR and employment services sphere - have been already trained and certified in Bulgaria under the GCDF program.

GCDF program affected the development of the career consultant profession, which has already been included in the National Classifier. Building the system for offering professional career services in the secondary and vocational schools will have a long-term impact on the successful professional realization of the young people and the economic development.
